Just received a copy and I agree with the consensus: this is an amazing gem of a double album. Packed with songs, and the mastering sounds incredible. Diamond in the rough!

Yes. I can only compare it to the CD version I listened to endlessly in high school, but as far as I'm concerned it sounds perfect. No perceptible crackle or distortion (that wasn't already part of the music) and beautiful bass.

Great sound, awesome whimsical packaging. The only drawback is the shame of being a consumerist sheep by admitting you need this in your life.

Excellent jazzy hip hop beats that liven up any party or dinner. There are scattered vocal samples, and I had no issues with the mastering.

A definite repeat-play album!

Sorry for the late reply, there's no fault in the mastering (though there is some crackle inherent in certain song samples.) Hope that helps!

Can anyone attest to the sound quality of this pressing? Thanks!

Excellent mastering, as expected of Rad Rush releases: heavyweight glossy vinyls with deep bass and pure synth. The gatefold packaging is solid and laminated; a professional release through and through.

The potential drawback of a limited-run vinyl-only ... See full review

The Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack is an excellent primer for synthwave, but the original game's sound is entirely unique: a grungy mix of dive-bar lounge, pumping house music and trippy ululating lyrics. Laced Records knocked this one out of the park from ... See full review

Sound quality is fantastic for a picture disc: no perceptible surface noise on either side! Excellent mastering and a great showpiece record!

Picture disc sounds fantastic, with no surface noise after multiple plays. It also looks fantastic rotating on the turntable. Excellent mastering from Invada, big fan!

Outstanding music gets the mastering it deserves. The continuous mix makes for a perfectly smooth vinyl. Essential.

The album art looks like blown-up jpegs, but the sound quality is great. Never expected to see this mash-up on vinyl, but I'll be spinning this for ages!

(Tip: Skip Side B entirely. Biggie's "Dead Wrong" is painful to listen to, and the two other tracks ... See full review

Is there any version of Akira worth getting? I'm pleasantly surprised by this GitS bootleg.

Blown away by how great this sounds. Deep bass and crisp bells on the opening track erased all my fears. I'd prefer an official release, but you can't go wrong with this bootleg.
