Really hope this gets the vinyl treatment sometime in the future... Track 11 is one of the most intense and trance-inducing musical experiences I've ever had, but the whole album is mind blowing and on par with any of WV's Gas records (think a more ... See full review

And then you go back to the days when Cluster & Eno and Harold Budd sounded "new" and then some other elitist bullshit spouting person like yourself will be saying how you should go back to the 50's-60's when people like Derbyshire, Oram, Perrey & ... See full review

Nope this is the sound of an artist finding the true essence of her sound and going supernovae. Everything before this album was embryonic in comparison and not much more than the primordial ooze which gave way to this remarkable album. Art Angels is the ... See full review

My copy seems to be exactly the same as the one mentioned here except for the fact that the green "leaf"/spade image behind the title on the front cover is absent. Does anyone know if this is a way to identify a different pressing? Thanks!

So basically its impossible to know how limited they are and "numbered" is just a marketing gimmick to give a false impression of scarcity. Frustrating, but thanks for the info.

Does anyone know how "limited" the numbered editions are? Can't find the info anywhere, would be interesting to find out how many copies are pressed of each release. Not sure why Mofi is keeping this info secret.

The band was heavily influenced by Terry Riley, so I've always liked to imagine that Parson Sound were the first band to blend rock with a minimalist approach. It certainly is very unique and a must for any fans of experimental rock music.

Does he have a bandcamp? Wish he'd put out more tapes though. CD(r) is slowly disappearing and I sinply buy the files if I have the choice. But the real reason is that the old tapes on his Deepskin label sound and look incredible.
